Rawlins Cross has been part of the fabric of roots and Canadian folk music for decades, bringing an unmistakable blend of their East Coast Celtic roots alongside rugged pop influences. Along the way, they have carved out a faithful fan base that continues to sell out their shows to this day.
On tour in support of their latest release, I chatted over the phone with co-founding member Dave Panting about that distinct sound, the songwriting, their enduring popularity, and how Rawlins Cross is working with young artists sure to make their own mark.
