He is the consummate Canadian songsmith - somewhat roots acoustic, somewhat jazz, somewhat slightly retro country cool.
No matter what musical style he opts to write and perform, David Myles knocks those efforts out of the park, in style.
In this generous interview, David talks about the inspiration for crafting an honest Christmas album, the sixth year of his seasonal fundraiser Singing For Supper, the very recent passing of New Orleans legend Allen Toussaint, and working on recordings in Joel Plaskett's New Scotland Yard studio.
He also kindly indulges me in an unexpected "David Myles Wikipedia Trivia - True or False?" quiz :-)
