Sweeping through cities in BC & Alberta during March 2015, I caught up with Oliver Swain by phone for this interview.
Swain will be taking the "Spark Tour" to a number of different cities, along with Ben Sollee & Emily Braden.
While Swain and his Big Machine project have been involved with vocalist Braden beforehand, it was a fortuitous workshop collaboration at the Canmore Folk Festival in 2013 that brought Sollee together with them for this tour.
Based on previews of each of their music, this should be quite the experience to see live.
