At the time of this phone interview with Sheena Rattai, Winnipeg's folk/roots trio Red Moon Road are currently touring North America in support of their latest album, "Sorrows and Glories".
Comprised of Rattai (vocals, percussion and keys), Daniel Jordan (vocals, guitars, mandolin), and Daniel Péloquin-Hopfner (vocals, mandolin, banjo, guitar, keys), the trio walks a tightrope between intimate storytelling, and near-pop sounds amongst the roots-based melodies.
They get a little help from their friends doing that, as you'll find out in this loose and freewheeling conversation.
