Jeffery Straker is a force of...well, he's a force. A force and a half I'd say.
As a piano-playing singer songwriter Straker evokes the passion and
insightfulness of contemporaries like Rufus Wainwright, Sarah
Slean, Elton John, and truth be told, as far back as the vastly
underrated Leon Russell, whose work can be heard in pop rock
classics by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Ray
Charles.
In this edition of my interview series, we talk about his career to
date, the juggling act he has going on to stay on top of his
ever-expanding commitments, and of course - music.
