I may never know how I came to be so fortunate as to have shared almost 20 minutes with one of the most colorful figures in Canadian music, but this interview highlights every one of those minutes.

Discussing his new and hypnotic album Beautiful Scars, as well as his heartfelt desire to be considered a folk artist (although even if he isn't, he might not care as much as he makes out to), as well as the inspiration behind his current solo work, this is a genuine peek behind the Canadian music curtain.

Unfiltered...the creative mind behind collaborations such as JunkHouse, Blackie & The Rodeo Kings, and far, far more...

NOTE: This will link to a companion feature in my online Calgary Herald space.
