The collision between traditional Celtic music, singer/songwriter pieces, and more than a couple of World War I stories has proven to be a successful direction for award-winning instrumentalist Lizzy Hoyt.
No coincidence - she comes by her inspirations honestly, given that the music business runs in her family, and the dues she paid while backing others paved the way for her original and cover sounds - which have also seen her nominated for, or winning multiple prestigious awards.
In our chat, she discusses, her work with a special Vimy Ridge 95th Anniversary project, her latest album New Lady On The Prairie, and shares her excitement about a substantial new project for early 2016.
