There's no substitute for passion when you're talking about your latest project, and director Bill Torrie brings plenty of that to this interview.

At the helm for Liffey Players Drama Society's production of Gardner McKay's "Sea Marks", Torrie discusses the importance of casting, along with the background of this particular piece, and much more in this broad conversation of Irish and what he refers to as recreational theatre.

Pictured are Tanya Elliott Wolff & Dorin McIntosh, starring in the play (picture courtesy of Liffey Players).

This will link to a companion feature in my online Calgary Herald space, and a review once I've seen the show.
