With his play "And Then The Lights Went Out" just opened at Stage West Calgary during the time of this interview, I chatted over the phone with writer and actor Andy Garland.
Set in Edmonton, it makes for a great piece to run in Alberta theatres!
He discusses how he came to the inspiration for this particular production, and letting go of creative control when a new director takes it on each time.
